Biography

Have loved amateur radio since I was a child listening to my Mom's Hallicrafter. But sure was scared when I saw the ARRL Handbook! So many, many years later I checked out a book from the Ocean Shores, WA library and practiced basic electronics math. Yes and do I remember any of it...sadly no.

Here I am enjoying digital modes and occasional phone. And as my other page on the other QRZ site says...thank you to my elmer JT Caldwell, WA5ZFH for teaching me, laughing with me and my mistakes, and being a dear friend!

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Yaesu FT-857D
Cushcraft A3S with 40mtr addition
SignaLink USB and a computer
