Biography

Have been a ham for 55 years with the same call sign. I operate ssb, cw, PSK31,
VHF, UHF and D-Star.
I received the 2012 Silver Antenna Award for public Relations on behalf of Ham Radio. This was awarded by the ARRL.
I moved to Florida from Maine in 2004. Live in Royal Harbor which is a retirement community with antenna restrictions. We can have any vertical we want up to 25 feet but it must be ground mounted. So far I have found that this is no hardship.
I belong to the Royal Harbor Amateur Radio Club, Lake Amateur Radio Association and Lake County ARES.I am the Public Information Officer for Lake County ARES.

QSL direct or through the bureau.LOTW is ok but no E-EQSLs. Info on QRZ.com.

Equipment

Icom 756, Icom 718, Icom 706 MK2G, Yaesu FT 2000 and Ameritron AL-811 amplifier.
Antenna is a Cushcraft R-6000 ground mounted plus assorted VHF and UHF antennas.
