My ham radio history
Oct 1974 (2nd year, Jr high school) Passed the phone class exam. License No. EYN-○○○○
Exam fee was 400 JPY. (Exchange rate was US$1.00=JPY300 in 1974 )
Feb 1975 JE3MLS was licensed as my call sign.
My station was located in Koyaguchi-cho, Wakayama.
Apr 1977 (2nd year, High school) Passed the telegraphy class exam. License No. EABL-○○
Apr 1980 (2nd year, University) Passed the 1st class exam. License No. AAEH-○○
(I didn’t take 2nd class exam due to cost issue.)
Mar 1985 Changing call sign to JS1ERB.
Because, I started working as an engineer in JA1 area.
Oct 2015 My old call sign, JE3MLS, is licensed again.
Now I’m holding both call sign.
