Biography

I am a member of JARL.

Ham radio has held a fascination for me since my teenage years.

In June 1985, when I was 15, I earned my first amateur radio operating licence.

My call sign was JF4FLC.

Later, I took up CW to upgrade myself and became a qualified Amateur First-Class Radio Operator.

In June 2003, I was assigned with JA1BBO when I moved to Yokohama.

Inspired by my fervor, my wife and son are also ham radio fanatics.

Both of them are licenced amateur radio operators.

Their call signs are JF1WUH and JF1WUI,respectively.

Over the years, my passion has not dwindled.

Despite my busy work schedule, I still indulge in this hobby.

On weekends and evenings, you will usually find me on the air.

I look forward to meeting you there.

73, Yama, JA1BBO
