Biography

My name is Giuseppe Todarello, age 60 years, born in Crotone South Italy and living in Rome since 30 years.
I am in radio since 43 years: my first call was I8TDP; after twenty years of obliged stop because of many sons to grow (4 males) I came back with a new IZ0GKO.
I am a chemical engineer but ill of electronics since almost 50 years.

Equipment

My work conditions:
Drake TR7A, Drake TR4CW, Collins KWM2A, YAESU FT250, FT101, FTDX505, FT7B, UNIDEN 2020, a lot of others.
Antennas: inverted V dipole multiband mounted in my backyard, Butternut homemade, magnetic loop (80m - 15m) homemade too, many fishing poles.

My best hobby is homebrewing: I have a lot of homemade transceivers, as well as linear amplifiers, and other. I bought a lot of dead devices as scraps giving them a new life.
So my electronic laboratory (inside a gazebo in my back yard) is full of professional devices as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, wattmeters and many others.
