50W on VHF and UHF

++++++++++++++++ Operations in QRP 5W on all HF bands ++++++++++++++++

DIAMOND V2000 vertical tri band 50MHz 144MHz and 430MHz antenna

I started my career as a radio lover when I was 9, in 1973.
My first radio was a Phonola 689, a great tube receiver that I used to listen to medium and short wave broadcast stations from all over the world. There was also the FM range and, thanks to the fact that at the time there were still few FM radio stations in Italy, I was also able to receive FM radio stations from neighboring countries such as Switzerland (Radio Monte Ceneri), Principality of Monaco (Radio Montecarlo) and Yugoslavia (Radio Capo D'Istria). Without knowing it I had become a BCL!
Later I became CB and in 1980 I took the SWL license and joined the Italian Amateur Radio Association ARI.
In 1984 I obtained the radio amateur license.
It was a “type B” license, only for VHF frequencies and above. Since 2005, the B license has been equated to the A license (to also operate on HF).
From January 2022 I started operating on the HF frequencies with a newfound enormous pleasure.
