Biography
Hi Guys!
My name is Roby (IQ7A old contest call) and I have been active on the HF bands since Febrary 1994. I was active on all the bands, 160 thru 6 meters on SSB, CW, shortly also on RTTY andalso very active in the most important contest till April 2001. On this date, in fact, I've had a serious accident (skull fracture and some hematoma). During the usual maintenance of antennas, cables etc., broke the top of the tower 15 meters high plus 4 meters mast and came down with all antennas. So, much of that time I've been constrained to be more or less inactive for that reason. Thanks God, after months of care, I've solved all the problems and now I am in excellent health. Now, eleven years after, I'm once again QRV on HF and Six meter band, with Yaesu FT-950 and Butternut HF9-V vertical antenna, and I mostly operate HF CW, and try to QSL new bands 100% through the buro. I've a passion for riding my Harley-Davidson Dyna, for hamradio and mountain bike. Right now I've 325 dxcc countries worked, 312 confirmed, 301 of them accredited, and worked more then 600 IOTA's islands. From time to time I'm active from italian (I.I.A.) and IOTA islands. I try to qsl 100% , but sometimes this job died down a little bit! If you are waiting any QSL, I shall always be glad to help you, so please feel free to drop me an e-mail. As soon as possible I'll put here some new photos.
