Biography

Hello my name is Ivan, I live in Vertova in the province of Bergamo and my locator is JN45wt.
I am a radio amateur since 1992 IW2KBK nominative, but my favorite radio activity is Listener.
I like doing SWL and I find satisfaction in listening to stations from all over the world,
be they radio amateur or broadcasting. My station is so composed, Yaesu FT Dx 1200, JRC 535, Kenwod R-5000, Kenwood TS 140S, Icom PCR 1000, Kenwood R-600 that the friend Angelo IK1QLD has granted me on loan for use.
I use the SDR receiver, Elad FDM-S2 and FiFi Sdr with great satisfaction
I also have some portable receivers, such as Tecsun PL606, Tecsun PL365, Tecsun PL880 and Degen 1103 with its Kestrel W31Ms loop antenna. For stationary V / UHF frequencies I have a Uniden UBC-355CLT plus a couple of handsets, Kenwood TH28 and Yaesu FT60 and a TTi Tsc-3000R portable scanner. My antennal park is reduced to a vertical of 11 m. with double baluns 4: 1 and 36: 1 managed remotely via coaxial cable, and a long wire 15 m.
For the Air / vhf / uhf ranges I use a J-pole mounted on the terrace. Nothing of who knows,
but largely satisfy my listening needs. In order to optimize my listening sessions as accessories. I use a ZG TM535 preselector / tuner, JPS NIR-12 noise reducer and finally for the VLF I have a 0-500 kHz / 28 MHz frequency converter. I enjoy this way, with these fantastic means from which I try to make the maximum profit. I am lucky to live in an area where I have many OM and SWL friends with whom I can exchange
experiences and information useful for our hobby.
