Biography

Hello and thanks for visiting.

Been on the air since late 1970's and took the Morse exam in 1985.

Main interests at the moment are VHF/UHF and the fascinating means of propagation to be found on these bands.

Station for 2 metres Icom 7100 with a 11 element G4CQM antenna, which as you can see from the below photograph is disguised as a tree! (It is clear of the Oak Tree, but it does reduce its profile!). Also using a BNOS linear (180watts) for 2mtrs.

Also enjoy CW working on the HF bands.

On HF I use an old Kenwood TS 870s with a Windom Ant.

I am a member of the Highfields Aamteur Radio Club in cardiff, where I assist in the teaching of the hobby.

I am happy to QSL but only via E- QSL please.
