Biography

Hi

Thanks for dropping by.

My name is George (Geo on CW) and I have been licensed since September 1979. In March 1983 I upgraded to the full UK Amateur License.

My Amateur Radio interests are Contesting and HF DXing on both RTTY, CW and SSB. Living in a town means that I have a small back lot with little room for antennas but I do alright. For LF I use a 80m Doublet, For HF a Force 12 C2SS antenna.

I am operational on all HF bands.

QSLing: I regularly upload QSO data to the ARRL's LOTW(Log Book of the World) and eQSL. For those that need a QSL card then please QSL direct. I do not QSL via the bureau as I am not a member. Please note that the RSGB will in April 2012 stop delivering QSL cards to non members so LOTW or direct will be the only way to get a QSO confirmation.

For further info check my website.
