| Biography Hello and thank you for viewing my profile.
If you have viewed my profile before you will notice that my picture has changed, pleased to introduce my latest Grandchild, a lovely girl Brianna born Sunday 25th October 2020 at 01:01.
I gained my license in February 1981 and have worked v h f for many years, though I must admit that I never mastered the Morse code, it just would not stick, so I was really pleased when we were given full status, by this time though I was off the air for ten years, returning in November 2014, when I managed to buy a very good radio.
I was taken under the wing by Andy m0bsv who has given me some of his surplus equipment, for which I will be eternally grateful.
My antennas I have had to build myself, and after many false starts I have arrived at a working inverted v.
I joined the Peterborough And District Amateur Radio Club, and have received a great deal of help and encouragement from all members, we have a very active training program with so far a 100% success rate.
Thank you and 73 Worked DXCCs: |
