Biography

I have been licenced since 1993. I have tried most modes of operation, but over time have come to realise than none interest me like CW.
I am a member of
FISTS
G-QRP
SKCC
QRP ARCI

For a few year I have been operating /P with "Staffordshire Portable Amateur Radio Club".

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

My station consists of Home Brew CW QRP rigs too many to list and more to come.

Kenwood TS590SG as main station radio bought because of its DSP filtering to help combat local urban noise.

Yaesu FT817 ND Bought about 2014 for multi band /P. Great little rig. But I now also have FT891 for portable use for a little more power.

Main station antenna is somewhat a compromise due to lack of space. I tend to stick with simple wire antennas such as EFHW erected as an inverted"L"

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
