Biography

I started on radio in the early 1980's on CB first and found that this is the hobby that I want to get more involved in. So in 1983 I took the RAE to get the new call of G6XXK, but didn't really take to just VHF, so had to follow up later with the CW test to get a full licence, and did get really addicted to the HF DX'ing.

I enjoy DX and also rag-chewing as well.

I spent time with a friend on mine G0EYZ at the local scout campsite with his Scout Amateur Radio Group using (G0SMK and GB0MKS) for many Scout anniversaries. Plus assisted at getting Bletchley Park Station X back on the Air in 1992 & 1993 with G0EYZ.

Other hobbies are Music and travelling

Radio's Kenwood TS570D (x3 just in case!!!!!) had for over 20 years. Microphone - MC60's and Shure 444 Antenna's - still experimenting due to very small garden now.
