Hi ! Thanks for looking at my profile.

My name's Laurent-Pierre. I'm born in 1969 (the same day as Pierre Vassiliu, but not the same year) and living in a small flemish town near to the northern coast of France.

I like wilderness adventures since a lot of years. I couldn't travel very far, but I was able to lve the wilderness and autonomous travel without material.

I accompanied people for their first experience in the wilderness. I passed my knowledge as a Nature Guide, specialized in ethnobotanics.

Today, I'm an animator in a french association "BOREALE-OUTDOOR". We teach people to become more autonomous and to create their wilderness adventures.

"BOREALE-OUTDOOR" trains people and projects of expeditions, for more or less long Time. And during this adventure, we need a means of communication ; so I pushed the door of "A2RS" (F8KGS). The Amateur Radio adventure began.

I'm membre of the radio club "A2RS" (F8KGS) since 2021, October et I passed le Hamradio HAREC license at 2022, January 17th. Today, I’m learning a lot with F8KGS and I like what I’m learning.

I learn and communicate with the material of the Radio Club and I participate in the life of the association.

I like activation in wilderness like SOTA, IOTA, WWFF, ... and Free Activations. I’ll concentrate my training on these activities in QRP.

I call with an IC-7000 with a homemade dipole and a YAESU FT3D (VHF/UFH on FM) with an ARROW2 antenna.
