Born 1989, first licensed as F0GVE when I was 22 years old (November 2011), I became F4GVE (the french regular class with CEPT and HAREC) on November 2012.

I enjoy HF SSB and CW QSOs, sometimes I'm QRP with 5 watts or less. I'm QRV from 40 to 6 m. I'm also active on APRS on VHF 144,800 MHz (with callsign F4GVE-9) and UHF 439,700 MHz.

I also operate on CW, I made my first contact with 4U1ITU on 50 MHz. If you hear me on CW, please consider me as a novice: I can understand and operate at 20 WPM (can listen 20-25 WPM), I've got 4 keys: a straight key (I did my very first QSO with this one), a dual paddle Bencher BY-1 which is my regular key for CW traffic, an Himound BK-100 and an old bug Vibro - Mors Type A that I never used on air because it's very hard to operate for me.

I like Arduino programming and Raspberry Pi projects as well.

I live in Servoz, a small village near the city of Chamonix, in the French Alps near the Italian and Swiss borders.

I work as a system and network administrator.

I'm a member of REF, ARRL and F8KCF club station.

Je trafique le plus souvent en HF SSB et CW, parfois en QRP avec 5 watts ou moins, QRV de 40 à 6 m, je suis parfois actif en WSPR et JT65 (5 W). Je suis aussi actif en APRS en VHF sur 144,800 MHz (avec l'indicaif F4GVE-9) ou en UHF sur 439,700 MHz).

Je suis parfois actif en CW : j'ai fait mon premier QSO avec 4U1ITU sur 50 MHz. Si vous m'entendez en CW, rappelez - vous que je suis novice dans ce mode, je peux comprendre et manipuler à 20 mots par minutes. J'ai quatre manipulateurs : une pioche (avec laquelle j'ai fait mes tous premiers QSOs), un double contacts électronique Bencher BY-1 que j'utilise pour le trafic, un Himound BK-100 et un Vibro - Mors Type A (plus pour la collection).

Je suis également intéressé par la programmation Arduino.

J'habite à Servoz, un petit village près de Chamonix (74 - Haute Savoie) près de la frontière suisse et italienne.

Je travaille dans l'informatique comme administrateur serveur et réseau.

Je suis membre du REF, de l'ARRL et du radio-club F8KCF.
