Biography

Year 1959 - My first ever QSO. Club station UA2KAP, Charnykhovsk, Klainingrad obl.. Band 40 meter, mode AM.
Year 1961 - UA2ACS - My first own callsign (10M and UP bands only).
Year 1966 - Callsign changed to UA2CS (HF+VHF, excluding 15 m band).
Year 1974 - UR2RGM - my first callsign in Estonia.
Year 1980 - RU2RGM - Special event callsign (Moscow Olimpic Games 1980). Was valid until August, 1980.
Year 1991 - ES1RF - Callsign changed due Estonia become independent from USSR.
Year 2006 - ES3RF - another callsign for operation from my country house.
Both callsigns are valid at the present time.

Main activity on VHF and up bands (50, 70, 144, 432, 1296 MHz) and 80-10 Meter bands
Tropo, E-sporadic, MS, EME. From time-to-time satellites too, mainly QO-100
Holder of many HAM awards, including:
DXCC Satellite Award,
DXCC 2 meter band Award,
WAS 2 meter band Award

I prefer CW, but on VHF and UP, mainly MS and EME also using digital modes.
Sometimes FT8 and FT4 on HF bands.

VHF: Yaesu FT-736, Yaesu FT-847, Yaesu FT-2000 + transverters (144, 432, 1296 MHz).
PA: 50 and 70 Mhz - GS31B. 144 and 432 Mhz - GS35B,
1296 Mhz - 200 W for tropo, 1000 W for EME. Both from KUHNE Electronic.
Antennas: 50 Mhz - 9 el. long yagi;
70 Mhz - 7 el.yagi (YU7EF)
144 Mhz - 1x2M18XXX yagi; 432 Mhz - 8x19 el.yagi
1296 Mhz - 4x35 (Tropo) and 3 meter dish (EME)
Satellite: QO-100. Full set of rig from DX Patrol.
Power amplifier 12 W. Antenna 1.5 meter dish (TX) + 70 cm dish (RX)
Transceiver: FT-847 in satellite mode.
