Biography

My name is Armando ("Mando" for "CW hypocoristic name") and I live in Valencia (abbreviated, VLC) (Spain)
My previus callsign was EA5BWL but now is EA5ND since 28/02/2013

I'm Industrial Technical Engineer (electrical-electronic) and employee (already retired) of Telefonica Company in the area of maintenance of High Frecuency transmission lines terrestrials instalations and Radio-Links and celular radio systems.

Amateur Radio class "A" since 1981. I like mostly CW activity.

I was published two books about antennas.

Four editions of "CALCULO DE ANTENAS" (Ed. Marcombo) , and

"ANTENAS VERTICALES PARA BAJAS FRECUENCIAS (MF y LF)" (Ed. Marcombo).

Equipment

My rig is a transceiver Kenwood TS_590S and my antenas are:

a dipole with traps for 80 and 160 mts

a dipole for 40 and 15 mts and

a dipole with traps for 30 and 10 mts.

All of them, fed to 14'5 mts(160, 80, 40 and 15 mts) and 11 mts(30 and 10 mts) from the flat roof of a 7 storey building
