Biography

DP3M ist das Sonderrufzeichen der CW-Interessengemeinschaft um Andy, DL3AZ und Erhard, DK1WI sowie Bernd, DF7PI und Wolfgang, DD0PX.

"M" steht dabei für Marconi und/oder Morse.

Die grundsätzliche Idee besteht darin, mit dem Sondercall die Betriebsart CW zu fördern und CW zu intensivieren. Das besondere Interesse besteht darin, allen Begeisterten und Interessierten der Betriebsart CW - insbesondere auch in QRS - die Telegrafie näher zu bringen. Jedoch ist der Einsatz bei schnellem Austausch von RST unter Wettbewerbsbedingungen ebenso vorgesehen. QRS und QRQ - beides dient der Förderung. Das Rufzeichen findet sich sodann ebenso auch bei Aktivierungen im Rahmen des SOTA-Programmes und QRP-Aktivitäten.

Die Interessengemeinschaft findet sich im Westerwald zwischen Elkenroth und Katzwinkel in einer der tollen Betriebsart gerecht werdenden Landschaft.

Primarily by using this callsign the operators signify their pleasure to practice Morse telegraphy.

The Suffix "M" is reminiscent of Morse and Marconi.

Main idea behind this call is to foster and encourage CW-activity on our allocated frequencies. Additionally DP3M participates in contests and other activity programs like SOTA etc.
