- 1988 license for hamradio at age of 16, got first callsign Y44TL
- 1991 callsign changed to DG2DRA because migration from GDR to FRG
- 1988-2009 very active in hamradio
- 2009-2018 long break in hamradio because other important things in personal life
- 2018 end of April reactivate hamradio with a new callsign DL1BZ
