Biography

Started in 1975 in the age of 12

DNT HF-12 2 channel AM handheld raio
DNT M-511 12 channel AM mobile radio
Teaberry Stalker 101, AM/SSB mobile radio
GPAntenna and a several homebrew ones (performed better than suggested :) )
several Alan, Zodiac, Alpha radios...

Since 1991 licenced - DG1IAF (class B (now A) entry / w/o CW)

Since 1991 member of the DARC, OV K.39 => 06-2018 => K.19

In 1993 I took the CW test and got a new callsign - DH3PAL

A trainee callsign is also assigned to me - DN3PAL (using it once in a while in order to get newbees on the air..:) )

Owned www.sommerkamp-collection.de.
During that time I've collected 95% of the SoKa CB-Models ever built.
Supported RigPix during that time in order to keep the memory of "Sommerkamp" alive.
Shut down the Site because I havent had the time to man age the forum e.g. Some users gave me a hard time... and then also the german law envorcement :))) www.sommerkamp-sprechfunk.de took over.

As I moved to a new house in 2007 I've sold the collection (5 tonn's of radios...) due to lack of space at the new location (and the expensive coast of living over here :( )... Now I've again started the "collectin thing" ...

On my curent location, I got a "small" :( antenna problem.... not even 1 repeater (10/2/70/23) can be reached... due to the neighbourhood... no outdoor antenna which makes sence possible .... means no fun... just listening once in a while.
