Licensed since December, 1964. Unbroken for 48 years.

Have been licensed in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Illinois and Nebraska.

I now have a perminant "9th" area call sign. You should see the call sign license plates I have accumulated!

I am an awards (paper junkie) person. I try to chase special event sations, lighthouses, etc., etc. I am or have been a menber of Okaw Valley ARC out of Greenville, IL, R.A.D.I.O. ARC out of Mt. Carmel, IL, W.H.E.R.E. ARC out of Fairfield, IL, Aksarben ARC out of Omaha, NE and a Charter member of the Richmond ARC out of Richmond, VA. (Now, no longer in existance)

Active in ARES and I am a VE for ARRL and W5YI.

Equipment

Just put up GAP Titan DX Vertical. Moved it from my previous location.
Current equipment: YAESU FT 1000D, Swan 350, Kenwood TS 520S, Kenwood TS 830S, Drake TR-4, Drake T4XC and R4C. IC 706 MK LL G (use for CW) SB 220 and Drake L4. No antenna for 80 or 160 at this time as I have a lot of noise. IF IT DON'T GLOW IT AIN'T RADIO.
