Biography

Thanks for stopping by, and hello from lovely Santa Monica, California, USA.
I started in amateur radio as a teenager back in 1983 as N2CXB in New York City where I grew up. Unfortunately, with the pace of life, I dropped out of the hobby until reconnecting with it in 2012. Now I am more excited than ever about radio!

I really enjoy exploring the intersection between amateur radio and computing. I like working digital modes with my Icom IC-705 and portable antennas I use to accommodate limited backyard space. I also have a lot of fun working D-Star, DMR, and Fusion using a ZumSpot.

I look forward QSO'ing with you on SSB or any of the various digital modes I am experimenting with and enjoying.

Warm 73s from Santa Monica, CA!
