Biography

I am 74 years of age returned to live in the United Kingdom 2015 from Portugal, where I lived for 8 years, 90km north or Lisbon, close to the city of Rio Maior. I am an ex HGV truck driver, when I retired at 57, I went into the magistrates courts as a security officer, in charge of young offenders. I have a foundation ham license, so I am at the bottom of the ladder for now.
My radio is the Icom 706 MKIi G which is 10 years old
Antenna G5rv half wave stretched across my garden 3meters above ground
connected to a automatic antenna tuner.
Standard Icom microphone.
My garden is closed in by trees
I will be pleased to receive transmission reports by email, as of yet not had any QSLcards printed.
