| Biography The GB80ATC Callsign has been kindly authorised for use by Ofcom during 2021-22 for the celebration of 80 Years since of the Formation of the Air Training Corps (ATC), nowerdays we are known as the Royal Air Force Air Cadets (RAFAC).
The 'Formation of the ATC' was by a Royal Warrant on 5th Feb 1941; since then it has gone from strength to strength to what it provides for our young people today.
There have been many Cadets, Staff (Civilian/Uniformed), Chaplins and Cilvilain Committee Members who have come through the ATC organistation learning many skills as they have become part of the ATC Family.
Headquarters Air Cadets is currently located at RAF Cranwell in Lincolnshire, England, it has also been located at other RAF Stations over the years.
Venture Adventure has been the ATC motto since its beginning. |
