Biography
I wrote my exam in 1988 and my first call-sign was ZR5ACC and after doing my Morse Code test,I became ZS1RM.
I then moved to Botswana and where I got my A22RM call-sign.
It was here where I got my first opportunity to work a "pile-up".
I will never forget that feeling, when you hear so many stations calling you at the same time. I always tried to work as many stations as I could, when I got that opening.
One of the Radio Hams from the USA even offered to be my QSL Manager.
At the moment
I got my Base station in Kuilsriver near Cape Town.
I prefer to receive all my QSL cards direct.
