Equipment

I use a 6 band "Eagle Gap" vertical antenna which is an array of 5 verticals around the central element at a height of about 11 metres (aprox 34 feet). My 6 metre antenna is home brew 5/8 vertical.

The rig is a Yaesu FT FT dx 3000 running barefoot at 100 watts for HF & a backup Yaesu FT 847 which I use for 2 meters & 70 cm

For audio the Heil Pro-6 headset with the attached mike (pictured) does a great job & I have the option of using the Yaesu MD-100 dynamic mike if needed.
