Biography
Hello,
A few words about me:
I am relatively new in ham radio but not on earth, am 60 years old,my profession is mechanical engineer. I work in quality field for about 30 years first in automotive and now in welded structures.
My passion for radio began as a teenager (absolutely banal) when I built several antennas to receive Free Europe. There followed three receiving stations of which one with tubes.
I spent a long enough period to gain theoretical knowledge of electronics and radio , reading with pencil in hand a sum of reference works. I started collecting rigs . Some ( TS - 140S , TS- 680S ) still own them being in very good condition.
The fact is that for years I deal with SWL without systematic performance and unpretentious, simply pleased to hear the voices of a thousand miles and then over the Internet, to identify people and places.
…, and this year I became a ham transmitter .........
