Biography

First licensed in 1965 as wn7cyy. Later obtained repeater license wr7acr which the fcc discontinued.
Obtained 2nd class Radio Telephone license wich later became a permanent General Radio Telephone license.
Usually use SSB but have been known to use all digital modes and especially liked RTTY and SSTV.

Equipment

Current radio is a pair of Icom IC-746's.
Older equipment included an ic-745, Galaxy, and Heath equipment. Used to enjoy building kits including an RF ampifier, a TV, keyer, mono-band xcvr, phone patch and others.
