Biography

My interest in ham radio began in 1957 with my introduction to CB radio. In 1965 I finally got started with my novice ticket , WN5OKB, which I allowed to expire with almost no use. Much later I got a technician ticket in 1972, WB5MPV, and became very active in the local scene and met many wonderful people mostly on 2 meters and some CW on HF. I upgraded to Amateur Extra in 2000 where I became more involved with this great hobby.
