| Biography I was first licensed in 1974 and was a U.S. Navy Radioman (RM2) for four years prior to that. I operate 100% QRP on the HF bands. I do most of my HF operating portable, using CW or digital modes.
I'm also active in emergency communications with the Chester County (PA) ARES-RACES organization.
Member of QRP ARCI, NAQCC, Boschveldt QRP Club (W3BQC), Polar Bear QRP, MI-QRP, NE-QRP, Flying Pigs QRP, FISTS and SKCC.
QSL direct, via the Bureau, SKCC QSL Bureau or LoTW (NOTE: For LoTW I upload as WB3GCK. I don't use /P or /QRP.)
NEW! Visit my blog at https://wb3gck.com for articles about QRP projects and portable operating.
