Biography

Spent 21 years in the US Navy 12 years in submarine service. After retiring from the Navy I worked mostly for Large Construction companies or as a consultant in telecommunications. I spend summer months in Oregon and winter months in Arizona.

I was first licensed Novice in 1954 and Extra 1965. Previous calls: K6EKN, K3NTI and WU5X

I work mostly CW with some RTTY and enjoy participating in contests, not to win, just to participate. I put away my bug many years ago and use only PC keyboard CW

ALS-600 amplifier and Henry 2k Classic amplifier
Antennas:
Yaesu FT-857D in my RV with a Tarheel antenna and automatic lift & Lay device
