Biography

I am a retired LEO. Got my first license (WD4FDD) in 1978 at the Miami, FL FCC Office and purchased an almost new Yaesu FT-401B. Unfortunately after moving to California I was unable to set up my shack and allowed my license to expire. I am now retired and again have gotten my license (Gee, no code required!!) and assembled my station in NORCAL on the Delta. I am a current member of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) the Mount Diablo Amateur Radio Club (MDARC), Oakland Radio Communication Association (ORCA) and the Quarter Century Wireless Association (QCWA). BTW, that FT-401B has been reconditioned and proudly resides alongside an FT-990, FT-991 and various VHF/UHF transceivers.

Hope to talk to you on air! 73

*FT8 CONTACTS - Please remember our contact is NOT complete until I receive an RR73 or an RRR followed by a 73. I will not log any FT8 contact where I do not receive a confirming 73. Thanks for understanding.*

I usually upload all QSO's immeadiately to QRZ.com, eQSL.cc and LoTW. I will also "sign" your QRZ.com WEB Tab if we have a confirmed QSO. I expect you to do the same!
