Biography
Like most HAMS I got started talking on 11 meter band. My Dad and Grandfather always had them in their pickup trucks when they traveled to jobs.
My Grandfather had a friend that was a Ham that worked on TV's. Him and Grandpa got me started messing with computers.
Back in the early 2000's a couple of the people I worked with talked to me on the 11 meter band on the way to and from work.
One of them is (N5EXS) showed me a Ham study guide. He started talking about getting his ticket so I decided to give it a try. I got my ticket in 2006.
I like using the computer with the radio especially SSTV & JT-65 and other digtal modes.
If you need a contact shot me a email and I will be glad to help you if I can.
I prefer getting QSL Direct. No need to send a stamp or money I will return one to you if you send me one. That what it is all about RIGHT? Getting the cards.
