Biography
Currently have 330 countries confirmed with DXCC on 160, 40,30,20,17,12 and 10. Still need to finish 80 meters.
Ham since 1967 and was licensed WN2TUN in Hornell NY, later to become WB2TUN...I was in broadcasting everything from Sky Spy, Jet Helicopter Traffic reports to Vice President and General Manager of KSEQ, KIOO in Fresno. Other calls I've held as my career moved me around this great country KC7PG in Phoenix, KBOOE in Des Moines. I have been spending time on 160, and 6 meters lately but operate most bands on a regular basis. I have a medical disorder called Dystonia which effects my muscles. Muscles knot up and never let go, kind of like being hit by a baseball bat all the time. I recv' some 500 units of Botox every 3 months to help with the pain issue and am currently considering brain surgery, DBS where they put in pace maker type devices for the brain. One day at a time.
Was married for 36 wonderful years to Kathy. Kathy passed away in January of 2011. I loved my career, family and amateur radio, life has been very good to me. Now if I could just like Dystonia during these retirement years.........
