I'm a member of Skyview Radio Society in Upper Burrell Twp. New Kensington, Pa. Come Join the Fun !!

I've been a ham for 4 years now, and I really enjoy the digital modes and also working CW. I am new to CW and want to thank my Elmer WC30 Cooky, (aka Bibguy) from Skyview Radio Society for his encouragement to get into CW. He's a pretty good cook too when he doesn't run out of propane !

Can't forget my friends in Clearfield Pa, and my very good friend N3SPW John. Since moving back I keep it touch with all those great guys from up North. They are K3JN Joe, WB3EQW Mike, AB3HK Filip, KB3SVW Al, W3EOD Scott, K3VFW Tom, W3TM Herbie and WB3AAI Lou !!!

My very first inspiration for ham radio was from an old friend of mine, KN3ZAN Dave (SK). Dave mastered the hobby, was an electronics engineer and taught me alot about ham radio. Will miss his friendship, 73 OM de W3PRL.

I hate hearing foul language on the air and I am outspoken about cleaning up the airwaves. Ham radio is NOT CB radio !!! We earn our license thru testing. I am now in favor of bringing back the code and understand why the older hams get upset with current rules and regs. ( Derrick passed his Tech Exam ) and now one more to goHis name is Evan !! They enjoy hanging out in the shack, but I've got to be careful what they hear on the air sometimes.

Still working on my Extra and hopefully I'll achieve that someday !!!!!!

Do you part to keep it clean, 73 de W3PRL
