Biography
Thank you for viewing my profile!!
I have been a licensed ham since 1991 and for 20 years I focused primarily on
VHF and UHF weak signal and contest roving.
In March 2014 I upgraded my licence to General and got my vanity call W3EME on the same
day, March 15, 2014!
Now I am currently working on DXCC, WAC, VUCC, and WAS. I have been an ARRL member for many years and I am now building an HF mobile based on my FT-857D.
I have a Buckmaster 3KW OCF 7 Band wire antenna as an inverted 'V' and a 40 meter
Dipole in a sloper configuration.
I am only currently running 100 Watts until I get my SB-200 Heathkit amplifier online
and tested out.
I hope to have the SB-200 online as early as May 2014.
I work for the US Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, in the weather satellite control center near Washington Dc.
I have been employed by NOAA for 20 years.
My other hobbies include competitive surfing and snowboarding as well as mountain biking and skateboarding.
I hope to work you on the bands soon!
73 and good DX condx to you!!
Todd de W3EME
