Biography
I have been a Ham since I was 14 (1974) with my best friend N2TM and have enjoyed every minute of it, rag chewing, DXing, and contesting!
My son is KC2ODP and is a fantastic kid and is a graduate student pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at MIT having graduated from Yale with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (please excuse the proud Dad!). He received his General ticket at 13 WPM after studying the Morse Code for one ("1") whole day! Although not his passion, I am glad he has his ticket, and it may come in handy in the years ahead.
My younger son is also a fantastic kid and is a Junior at Hobart William and Smith College in Geneva, NY. He does not have his ticket, but I hope he pursues it some day. He is a Biochemistry and Physics major and is pursuing a career in medicine.
I have been a Ham since I was 14 (original call WN2VLN) with my friend N2TM (ex WN2TZM) and have enjoyed every minute of it, rag chewing, DXing, and contesting!
