Biography
Resident in UK & licensed since 1992.
Licensed as VP2MDD since 1993/4 ish!
West coast QTH home overlooking the Caribbean and with excellent view of the volcano about 5 km to the south!
Main interest is in 6M propagation but also 10M & 12M & 60M.
6M can be a challenge towards Europe due to local geography, hills rise to 2000+ ft within a a couple of kms to east!
All good fun but I have been successful in the past!
Excellent sea (6M) take-off towards N. & S. America and beyond.
Africa on 6M workable through gap in the Centre Hills!
No data modes or EME capability.
I do monitor 6M propagation via the 6M ON4KST website....at great expense in VP2M!
