Biography

Hi
i've been into radio in One form or
another for the last 40 yrs, i started as a kid on 27MHZ.
i had a long break from radio and then
i moved into Amatuer radio in 2021 and haven't looked back. I live on the west coast of Australia, near the coast. but often head out into the desert to do prospecting and camping.
my main focus is DX, but im moving into SSTV which i've had a lot of contacts with. And
satellite tracking and communications. if you hear me on the bands give me a call,
im mainly on 10 and 15 mtr bands but i also get on 40 mtrs now and then.
i also do EQSL and direct QSL paper. check out VK6LDL on Facebook,
and hopefully we will speak soon
