Biography
Thanks for stopping by; My XYL Jodaerae and I along with our Dog "Lewis" live in Port Augusta which is known as the "Crossroads of Australia" and Gateway to the Flinders Ranges.
It's also the entrance to the South Australian Outback and the top of the Spencer Gulf, Port Augusta is 300klms North of the Capital City of Adelaide.
The Town is situated on the quiet waterways at the head of the Spencer Gulf, in close proximity to the spectacular Flinders Ranges.
Off to the West and South-West lie a range of hills which once marked the territory of the Nukunu Aboriginal tribe.
Port Augusta offers all the conveniences and facilities expected from a modern city. Choose from a comprehensive range of accommodation ranging from backpacker, camping, caravan parks, hotels & motels to medium price 4 star, as well as a selection of restaurants/cafes.
