Biography

Hi folks,

Thank you for visiting my QRZCQ page. My name is Rodger and my QTH is a town called Melton West, Victoria, Australia
My interest was created while I was in scouts in South Africa at a young age. I went to a Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) by a very dear friend - ZS1BW (Bernie Crockford). I used to visit him a lot to learn about being a ham, and he showed me moon bounce and DX. I got my restricted license in the early 80's and started doing packet radio with a few friends (ZS1NG & ZS1BW).

In 1998 I moved the Auckland, New Zealand and converted my license to ZL1RAH. Now I've moved to Melton, Victoria, Australia and have changed my callsign to VK3DXC.

73 and hear you on the bands.

Rodger
