FT817ND & ID-51A dual band Hand held radio
Portable Antennas: Multi link Dipole for 40, 30 & 20mtrs. End feed Dipole for 18, 15 & 12mtrs. A squid pole is used to suspend the Dipoles. Arrow dual band handheld yagi for Satellite 2mtr and 70cm.
Modes used: SSB, FM, Dstar and digital modes - RTTY, PSK, JT9, JT65 and SSTV on a Android Samsung Tablet using Wolphi Software.
This gear has been taken on many hiking and outback motorcycle trips.
Base Station -
IC-7300 - ID-5100 - Dstar solar powered Hotspot with a 5 watt data radio run by a Raspi Pi with a Moencomm Star Board.
Antennas: Longwire with Icom AH4 for 80, 40 & 30mtrs. Homemade design of the Cobwebb Antenna for 20, 18, 15, 12 & 10mtr bands.
Diamond Dual Vertical Antenna for 2 & 70.
Modes used: SSB, FM, Dstar / HF Dstar and All digital Modes using FLdigi on a Mac OSX.
The IC-7100 used in the 4 wheel drive for Mobile operation on a Diamond SD330 Antenna covering 80 to 6 Metres.
