Biography

First Licenced in 1985 after being an avid SWL for many years.

First callsign: VK2JEW

Other callsigns over the years: VK4JEW, VK4SWR, VK4SIX, VK4ISA, VK2SC and finally VK2QR.

Currently station is Located at Talbino NSW in the Snowy Mountains, Grid locator is QF44DK

My main interest is portable operations, activating SOTA summits and WWFF national parks.

When not out and about on a summit I can be found in the workshop restoring old amateur radio equipment.
