Thanks for looking my call up,VH2HBG/P or M I work portable a lot as I travel to work, try and get as many contact portable, away from my home QTH, or mobile driving to work etc.

I like to go out in the country side and set up, with battery or generator power.

Work contest portable as well to gain higher points, camp for the weekend and make it a great time.

Equipment

My Radio I use Portable is an Icom 746Pro, Icom 7410, with a 12 volt 60amp hour Thumper battery, which is connected to a solar panel to keep it topped up.

I use the Honda generator to supply more power for lighting and run the computer to work contest. Log all contacts onto the computer logging software.

In my 4x4 vehicle I use an Icom 7100 100 watts only as my class of licence is 100watts.

The antenna is a Terlin OB8 from Perth Western Australia, a fantastic antenna have worked the world. This antenna is mounted on the front of the bull bar of the vehicle.
