Biography

Radio Amateur since 1972. Originally from Ontario as VE3GGR. Also held call sign VA3LS.Great Uncle was Ern Ash, VO1AA. This call is now club call sign of SONRA (Society Of Newfoundland Amateurs). Ern, at age 5 met and became a long time friend with Marconi. Ern started building radio gear at that age and when licensing came out held the first issued call sign 1A. He also met other inventors like Tesla and Fesseden.

I am deeply involved in many aspects of amateur radio from CW to deep space communication. Usually found on all bands/modes from 160 M to 70 cm & higher. working on transmitters for 2200 M and 630 M.
