Biography

My other Callsign is KE5I

You can find all my Callsigns in QRZ.COM
My name is Stratos. I am originally from Greece from the island that is called Lemnos. Lived in Lemnos and in Athens for a total of 28 years. After my service to the Greek Army, and 24 years old, went to South Africa and lived there for 10 years. Stayed in Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth and loved every moment of it. Then moved to U.S.A in 1997. I liveed in Lafayette Louisiana, in a suburb that is called Youngsvile. There at 2004 I earned my first U.S. Technicians licence with the Callsign KE5DCI. After 3 Years at 2007 I earned my GENERAL licence and a Month later earned my EXTRA licence. Now as an EXTRA got my VANITY CALLSIGN of KE5I. At Lafayette worked as an IT Professional for a big oilfeeld company. My interests besides ham radio include, Motorcycling, Boating, Fishing, Photography, Target Shooting, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Woodworking, Aeromodelism, and Gadgets! After Lafayette moved close to Kansas City Missouri, in a city called Liberty. I am back in Lemnos now and I HAD to get a Greek Callsign because of Greek European Legalities with the CEPT Recommendation T/R 61-02 "Harmonised Amateur radio Examination Certificates H.A.R.E.C", U.S.A. has not adopted this Recommendation. So here is SV8SXD.
Well I am in the island now and I will be opperating from this location for as long as I will be here.
