Biography
Thanks for my friends SP8OBT and SP7QJF, SP8TJU, SP8TJA, SP8RHW/RHV/SP5SIP/SP8RHT/SP8OOV/SP8OOU/SP8XGP/XGK//XGH and managed to get my licence in 1996 while still at the university. When in US Bill WA0TYQ prepared me for US Ham test and I had novice licence three KC0HDB(now expired since I coudl not return to USA). With the time I upgraded my licence from UHV/VHF to HF and the real fun had started. In HF band I mostly talk from remote locations nearby my hometown, my HF antena from the building where I live in Krosno was stolen after some fixing was done on the roof. For sure somebody mislead crew doing repairs on the roof and they took my antenna away. Year ago I managed to install HF antenna on the balcony but it is not the same as it was on the roof top-yet I had QSO with station from London:). Locally I talks to friends on 2m. Recently I received power upgrade but did not have a chance yet to try my 200W amplifier. I report my availability for local disaster amateur network - I am glad this was also impelemted in Poland, I knew this sort of help in case of distress exist in USA. YV73! Janusz
