170th Birthday Anniversary of Emil von Behring
Diploma Regulations
The organizers of the diploma event are the IławA Shortwave Club SP4KVA.
The purpose of issuing the diploma is to commemorate the 170th anniversary of the birth of one of the founders of immunology, Nobel Prize laureate Emil Adolf von Behring, born in Ławice, Iława municipality.
The diploma event will be conducted from March 15, 2024 (birthday anniversary) to March 31, 2024 (anniversary of death).
Club and individual stations, both transmitting and receiving, from within the country and abroad, can participate in the event.
To obtain the diploma during the event period, participants must make the required number of contacts/listenings on any band and any emission with stations participating in the event, namely:

Minimum required number of contacts:
For stations within SP:
3 QSOs (1 QSO with SP4KVA club station and 2 QSOs with stations participating in the event), or
3 QSOs with SP4KVA club station using three different emissions.
For stations outside SP:
2 QSOs (1 QSO with SP4KVA club station and 1 QSO with a station participating in the event).
For SWL:
2 QSOs (1 QSO with SP4KVA club station and 1 QSO with a station participating in the event).
Diploma data will be collected based on the logs of the stations mentioned in point 5. SWLs are requested to submit electronic reports for the diploma, including a list of conducted contacts along with their data (call sign, name, email address) sent to the email address: sp4kva@wp.pl
Electronic diplomas will be available for download from the club's website sp4kva.qrz.pl. Additionally, diplomas will be emailed to stations for which email addresses are provided on qrz.com.
