Biography

Hi my name is Chris and I was born in 1956, despite being a physician by profession, from an early age I have always been interested in technology, especially shortwave radio. Although my technical talents were rather mediocre, I built in those times countless constructions, such as detectors, amplifiers, radio receivers etc. Of course according to my best skills,initially on transistors, then on integrated circuits ... and some of them even managed to run HI.
The fascination with amateur radio in my case can be explained by historical and political considerations. At that time, Poland was not a democratic state, and amateur radio was the proverbial window to the world, gave a sense of at least partial freedom, the ability to communicate with the whole world at a times when even traveling abroad was a big problem. These were my beginnings, fortunately now there are no such problems, but for me, the radio is always a great adventure, a great opportunity to meet new people and introduce a bit of romanticism into the cold modern world of technology
