Biography

My interest in the amateur radio began when I was a teenager, and that was in 1984 when I joined ham radio clubs SP4KSH and SP4KCG later. Several years of practice as a SWL, taught me how to listen. The first QSO in the log as my own callsign SP4TBF to which I wrote in June 1989.
Initially, I did QSO on homemade transceiver, then a full tube Yaesu FT-200 and antenna G5RV. After 15 years of absence my RIG is Yaesu FT-950 and several homemade antennas.
In addition to the DX-ing and IOTA programme, I like contesting and that is why I took part in Scandinavia Activity Contest and SPDX Contest. (In SAC 1991, No. 7 in SP, and 2015 No.1 in SP and No. 22 in Europe)
The rest of my time I spend on „collecting” British squares in The Worked All Britain Squares Award.

My W.A.B. books numbers: #11762 and #18327
My first SAC contest award (#7 in SP 1991, #11 in SP 2001)
